Aion Electronics is a small builder of really sweet guitar effects pedals in Des Moines, IA.

Right now there are two hand-built pedals available for sale: the Aion Compressor, which is a souped-up Ross-style compressor comparable to other high-end pedals like the Keeley Compressor, and the Axis Preamp, a miniature pedal version of the revered preamp section of the Korg SDD-3000 rack delay unit used by the Edge as part of his signature sound.

For those who like to get their hands dirty, Aion Electronics also offers PCBs for a variety of vintage circuits including a few very uncommon ones you may not have seen elsewhere. If you’re handy with a soldering iron and you’re willing to put in the time, this is your ticket to some expensive tones.
