Pedal sounds legit. Compared to the behringer HM300 this pedal sounds better. With metal poly box caps it really brings out the subtle nuances in tonal qualities when the “high” control is slightly peeled back. Fun to build. Bought two. The first one I kept stock. The second will be fun to try mid range mods and LED clipper diodes.

Aion Graviton HM-2
Really nice high quality kit, and fun to build. I was looking for an HM-2 kit and was glad to finally find this one. I had planned to sand the top and paint my own cover but I felt bad because the powder coating is too nice so I couldn’t bring myself to do it. The sound is so great. I love palm muting and strumming the bottom strings, it sounds like a great infernal machine grinding away at some human devouring endevour, like churning out iphones or something. I just built a compressor kit before this and that is all of my experience soldering to circuit boards and this kit is SO much nicer with the boards for the jacks and switch and board mounted pots. It also makes everything so much nicer if I do decide to paint it later. Really great overall
Graviton Kit Build
First kit build was a success! The pedal sounds great. Just it sounds just like how I remembered my original 1985 HM-2. To me this will always be the sound of 80’s thrash metal. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
